PH testing drops are designed for testing water for its alkalinity. Put 1-2 ounces of water in a shot glass and then add several pH testing drops. The water will change color and instantly reveal the pH value of the water.
Only pH drops are designed for testing the pH of Cerra Water. Litmus strips or other paper alkalinity testers will not work.
Why other pH test strips don’t work properly for testing Cerra Water:
pH test strips are typically designed to determine the pH of liquids such as chlorinated pools, saliva, and urine. These types of liquids have higher total dissolved solids (TDS) containing salts, electrolytes and other substances.
But the Cerra Water Filters treat and filter the water and it doesn’t have these other undesirable contaminants (TDS) in liquids that regular pH strips are designed to test.
Regular pH test strips are not compatible for testing Cerra Water and the test strips provide incorrect pH readings.
